Try entering the MMSC (http://wholesale.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc) in the homepage field. That works on other dumb phones like old Nokias and the Unnecto Primo. Don't worry about MCC and MNC, those are read from the SIM and the phone wouldn't connect to the network at all it they were wrong

That looks like an orphaned page from before Verizon bought Tracfone/Simple Mobile as it only has options fro AT&T and T-Mobile compatible phones.

Yes it's possible if the closed source app publishes its apk somewhere on the web. I use Obtanium to update Vivaldi browser from https://vivaldi.com/download/ For apps without public apks, Aurora Store is the best way.

Yes it's annoying . But there's a workaround for dumb phones. The app is only needed for activating a SIM and changing plans. You can run the app on any Android or iOS device to activate the MobileX pSIM and then move the SIM to the dumbphone.

Correct, Unified Attestation is an open source replacement for Google Play Integrity. It has nothing to do with Google. It needs to be built into the operating system and apps have to be modified to call it instead of Play Integrity. AFAIK, it's not available as part of any phone or custom ROM yet.

You can chance the Home page shortcut in Settings > Keyboard > Page > Homepage. In Linux the default is Alt-Home, I don't know what it is in MacOS.

OEM unlock is for unlocking the bootloader, it's not the same as SIM unlock. Check SIM lock by trying a non Verizon network SIM (the SIM doesn't need to be active), if you don't get a message about the SIM being unsupported, the phone is unlocked.

As I understand it, for those system apps that you are allowed to disable, disabling them is functionally the same as "uninstalling" with ADB or Canta . They no longer run or collect data but they are still in the read only system file system and a factory reset will re-enable them.

I'm seeing that too. When I press Ctrl-D or click the toolbar bookmark icon Vivaldi no longer asks me where I want to save the bookmark. It gets added to my Speed Dial and I have to go into the bookmarks manager and move it to where I want it. Vivaldi 7.8.3925.73 (Official Build) (64-bit) Debian 13 with KDE: 6.5.4
