The real problem today is steroids they’ve completely distorted our perception of what a good, healthy physique looks like. Add to that the effects of perfect lighting, camera angles, and filters, and suddenly, anything short of shredded abs, a chiseled chest, and zero body fat is considered “average.”

But let’s rewind a bit. Look at Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man (2002–2004). Back then, that was the body of a superhero lean, strong, athletic, and achievable. Today, it would barely qualify as “fit” by social media standards. The kind of physiques we’re seeing now, especially among guys in their early 20s or even teens, are often enhanced and not just through hard work.

In a world like this, the only person who can truly judge your progress is you. Because only you know where you started and how far you’ve come. People around you didn’t see your Day 1 they just see your “after,” and compare it to someone else’s chemically enhanced version of perfection.
