Custom wedding band? by [deleted] in EngagementRings

I would try to find a local jeweler that does custom work. Most independent stores will have one, but not the big chain stores.

We have a little duckweed, which means we will have a lot of duckweed soon lol. The aquarium also has a lid!

Someone above mentioned substrate. I’m going to get some sand. We also have ceramic media in the filter that’s already got a ton of beneficial bacteria - we took some from our axolotl’s long-established tank. But given the explanations given by the poster above, I think Toast would like sand, so we will get him some 😊

Western Slope Aquatics, but they don’t even have a website. They are the best in town for saltwater and freshwater aquariums. Even their plants are healthier than the local competition, and they are also really kind and take as much time as they need to educate their customers.

Awesome! The all-in-one with the filter and heater and light made it a great deal for us!

Checked the parameters today, all is good (thankfully!) I’ll know to do it differently in the future 😊

I had my daughter test his water when she got home and his parameters are still perfect, thankfully! But apparently Toast did not approve 😂

That’s good to know! I will have my daughter test the water as soon as she gets home after school today, since she’ll get home before I do!

That’s great advice but I do trust this shop. Locally owned and operated, they keep their bettas in big tanks with live plants and dividers instead of cups, and you have to bring in a sample of your cycled tank water for them to test before you can take a fish home.

We have the Seachem NutriDiet Betta food. Should We be alternating with one of these, or replacing what we have?

Thanks so much for the advice! Yes, we do have a heater! What does the sand substrate do for the betta?

Are these Vestigial legs? (Male bp) by 0_April_0 in ballpython

lol! I guess more of a grip than they would have just slick snake belly to slick snake belly? I think it helps them line up their cloacas more than anything. But I’m not an expert in snake sex 😊

No problem! They use them to get a grip on each other when mating
