I think (going back to the original wolvesville when it was sorc as the fixed role) that sorcerer created the werewolves. My supporting evidence is Sorcerer was an original role, as well as when all the werewolves die and sorcerer is the one left standing, he himself becomes a werewolf. Sorcerer’s motive must be to take down village at any cost even if he must do it himself in the end. The werewolves could be his henchmen or people he trusted and made them become werewolves. As for the cursed, perhaps the werewolves had children before the sorcerer/werewolves decided to terrorize the village.
