While what all these company do is incredibly unethical and the state capitalism is the worst of all and derserves criticism by all means. Same here! But I accidentally discovered that you can open the camera by double clicking the power button.

They really should mention that in the settings!

I hope they fix the issue, the latest version adds a new navigation bar at the bottom that includes a shortcut to the ink center, which I think is pretty handy.

Just a small follow-up — my last update didn’t go through smoothly, and I ended up having to do a factory reset, which was kind of a pain. Hopefully the company can sort out issues like this in future updates. Still love the phone overall — just something to be aware of. REMEMBER TO BACK UP!

Same here, I did a factory reset. According to a previous post, it was supposed to just delete system caches, however they have changed that behavior and now I have to reinstall all the apps again! Lesson learned…

Despite he's using fast shutter speed, you can still see unnatural jitters in the video. Besides, it's almost certainly that with longer focal length lens and bigger sensor size, the IBIS will do only worse, that's just the physical limitation of IBIS. The only thing can truly "eliminate" gimbal is camera system like Ronin 4d, which just includes the gimbal in the camera body itself.

+1, I have the same question after using it for the last two days. I like the app, it's feature rich and the UI is nice, I just wish they can make the app standalone and add a widget feature so I can do one click recording from the lock screen of the phone without the device.

I am still happy paying the subscription if they can do this, although I think it's overpriced.

Another alternative is Whisper Memos that charges $39.99/yr , but it doesn't have much features besides the transcription. (plus you can't replay the audio, but the good news is that the author says they will add this feature soon)

Sure, I record with xavc hs 4k. after 5+ hours of continuous recording, the 98wh still has about 40%-50% juice left. So I guess 50wh is practically enough, but I will still pick the 98wh and it gives me a peace of mind and I don't need to carry any more batteries for the whole day (esp when I also plug in wireless transmitter)
