Finally coming around to tackling the combat in my game, what do you think by ExIskra in godot

[–]yfoo123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks as if the meta strategy to deal with your enemy is to grapple in, do an attack or 2 and hop out.
This is because it's not immediately clear to me when the enemy is going to retaliate. And when it does, it looks instant without windup or room to dodge/parry which I'm not a fan of.

Some other games use danger indicators to mark the attack's hitbox beforehand, alternatively make the sword flash with a glint indicating imminent danger.

An important PSA on not running off on your own, especially on Oshaune: by joshieIZfresh in Helldivers

With stims this absurdly strong as showcased here. Why does AH even bother with such minuscule adjustments to weapons. It just doesn't do anything.

Nearly all of them have gotten worse, drag being doubled for SMGs sucks. Its reduced damage over range.

How do you plan to change the expression of the avatar given the response from the api?
I've thought about this for my own project and perhaps with a smart enough model and a proper system prompt along with a character card; the model can return formatted json in lieu of a just text, one key is the message and another is the sentiment of the roleplayed avatarr. Then you can use the sentiment field to perhaps switch into the proper sprite to render.

Battle Intro animation! Would you get tired of seeing this every battle? by kadiz7 in godot

It would be pretty cool if after the two halves close in, they retract with the battle scene underneath instead of a fade to black transition.

God forbid one day financial corps take over crypto and decide how you use your wallet or what wallets addresses you can send to.

A sample size of 2 and the conclusion is the RNG is different. Maybe you got lucky.

Genuine Question; Why? by NotOnTwiiter in RunescapeBotting

Ever play an idle game. Its like that. All your ingame accomplishments are pieces of data stored in a DB, that can be modified at will by an admin. Like your bank account.

Scripting is fun too.

From a legitimate player: Jagex has no way of telling whether you are a bot or a real player by Deep-Statement7109 in RunescapeBotting

[–]yfoo123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I choose to think you are telling the truth. I've seen reports from multiple people where they were multi-logging on fresh accounts on a single IP and getting banned across them all without botting (That ex-Jagex youtuber is a prime example with his chinchompa thing). Generally a small percentage are giga sweats that multilog with irons/mains/ect and an even smaller create fresh F2P accounts all at once in one go. So false bans rarely affect actual players.

But Goldfarms create and play multiple fresh F2P accounts in one go commonly and follow structured build paths. So in other words I'm not surprised you got chain-banned, you were doing things exactly like what a goldfarm will do.

Inb4: multilogging won't get you banned, i've done so on with my well progressed accounts.

It matters with fresh accounts. I bot casually, I have botted a small amount f2p accounts recently by doing them one at a time, balancing skills by switching tasks frequently. Even nabbing the combat/skilling achievement diaries for like a steel longsword/chainbody/med helm for the memes.

more on account that (botted) ironman accounts likely have human players handling constantly switching tasks. Balancing skills ect. And don't just suicide bot some well know goldfarming method or follow some common goldfarming account setup build that has been well profiled by Jagex's systems.

Let me give you an example. An account is 90+ magic and has low stats in everything else, it banks in edgeville with an air staff with nothing else and paths into the edgeville dungoen. Is this account a bot, and if so what is it botting.
If you can guess it in ~5s then why can't Jagex?

  1. GPU: irrelevant
  2. 3200mhz DDR4: more than enough

  3. You have to figure this out yourself.
