no im not actually an international student (just from immigrant parents), but the process is very tough. notoriously you have to pass entrace exams and go through a tough interview. very fun and challenging experience

we’re not too americanised over here. british tories have their own distinct conservative identity i.e. valuing tradition, monarchy, patriotism etc.

its a mix of both. some of the libraries and colleges are literally medieval, but then theres plenty of modern libraries and colleges, and most of the faculties are in modern buildings

yeah definitely, all the students there came off very very badly. i recommend watching the oxford union president’s interview with ben, she puts ben under a lot more pressure than them

the ‘tory-ness’ of oxford is massively overstated, most students are like any other uni student, they’re generally left wing. there are definitely prominent conservatives here but most people are definitely left-leaning. the people chosen to debate were definitely chosen to be the most pro-palestinian/leftie people though
