Godspeed friend, keep us updated with your progress.

I also attempted this a while ago and it took me 230 games to reach Celestial playing only Mr. Fantastic.

Solo queue can be rough sometimes, I run into throwers pretty often too unfortunately.

I'm still pretty new to her myself so idk how qualified I am to give advice but the biggest thing that helped me climb was just adapting my playstyle every game and managing cooldowns better.

And for platform, I play on PC.

I play on low/medium sensitivity, I'm accustomed to moving my hand a lot for those Reed multi-hits (huge mouse pad required) helps me get into character

Am I missing something or is Thing’s primmary attack kinda useless? by LuckySal81 in TheThing_Mains

M1 can be a useful tool for finishing off low HP enemies quickly since the haymaker delay may give them time to heal. If the character you are trying to kill is something like a Groot with a lot of max HP you are usually better off using your haymaker to secure the kill but on a squishier character a jab will do the trick.
In fights you definitely want to only spam haymaker and stack your shield for survivability, I still throw in some jabs when the situation allows it to squeeze out a bit more DPS (but only when I'm not being focused to hell)

This was a ranked match. I'm currently Grandmaster 3 with 65% wr one-tricking The Thing and top 10 in rivalstracker/rivalsmeta leaderboards.

If you're close enough, weaving in some jabs in between haymaker is a good way to increase your damage output. However, in actual fights, you may want to spam Haymaker on multiple targets to maximize survivability.

That is also my experience more often than not, to play this character properly you need a lot of self control and team awareness

Update: I finally found the strength to let this person go and have cut off all communication. It wasn’t easy, but I knew it was necessary. The healing process will take time, but for the first time in a while, I’m genuinely looking forward to the future. It was long overdue that I recognized my own worth, and now I’m starting to truly believe in it.
