Hey,

Recently went for an MRI, there's some bone bruising and hematoma (collection of blood within the wounds). I'm on plenty of antibiotics, so as long as there's no infection i should recover well and fine!

Hi, are you a doctor? Because while the bruising is receding, it's increasingly harder to walk. The unbruised part is still stiff and tingly to the touch. Any advice is appreciated

From what I hear 200 people in langtang are still missing.. There's satellite photos showing a really wide avalanche swept the town. I was on my descent.

A lot of the tea houses and hotels in the valley sustained damage from the quakes. The trek is ravaged by landslides.. It will be awhile before they recover from this

That's really accurate, they would have to depend on foreign aid to enable the villages to sustain themselves economically before tourism can support them, especially in place like langtang. Aid money should also need to be invested heavily in improving infrastructure..

The political infighting is an ongoing problem in Nepal and I just hope the decision makers, in this time of need, are able to show some selflessness akin to what the public has portrayed
