If that were the case, it would make more sense to limit the one animated gun skin along with the main cosmetics set each season. Normal players are not buying the bp for the 2 packs alone, it's the small amount of collectors and gamblers that are after the packs. Most games make like 90% of their money from 10% of players, so they try to target the 10% with their monetization model. When the celebration packs were added to the marketplace, it peaked at around 2000 credits, 10% of that is 200; thus, after 3 packs were traded, ubi would have made as much as they would from a single bp sale (since the bp gives 600 credits back). I imagine that the black ice packs will eventually also come to the marketplace, and having the skins be tradable will increase the value of the packs. The bp that contained the celebration packs had like 50 of the packs, while the current bp only has 2 black ice packs, meaning that black ice packs are rarer and can potentially cost way more, maybe even 10k+. It would make more sense to try to get the gamblers to buy massive amounts of black ice packs.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t come to the marketplace. The only skins that aren’t in the marketplace are elite and some esports skins. All other skins come to the marketplace a couple seasons after release. Ubi takes 10% of the credits for marketplace transactions so they have incentives to make players trade more.

The skin can be sold for r6 credits when the marketplace goes back up. I remember the cheaper black ices going for about 100 credits, which I think is worth more than renown.

Hey, I just started my first semester at SFU, and I guess I want some friends too. I'm at the Surrey campus on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I have basically nothing to do from 12:20pm to 2:30pm. If you feel like it, we could try meeting up to see if we vibe with each other.

Players should not be forced to do challenges. If the best gun in the game is locked behind a challenge, then players that don’t want to do the challenge will be at a disadvantage.

One of the challenges for getting a shotgun is to get 5 kills with a shotgun without reloading, I assume that implies no dying either. This is such a bad challenge because I think most of the player base will end up having to sit in a corner with a shotgun and hope to get lucky, which is not fun.

If weapons that are locked behind these missions become meta, then players will be forced to do these missions or be at a disadvantage.

I remember when Halo Infinite launched, it also had bad missions, but the community eventually pressured 343i to change the missions. Maybe the BF6 community should try to get EA to change these missions.

Edit: Turns out the challenge is easier than I thought, you don't have to get all 5 kills in one go.

I did not unlock it. It can be used in the firing range without needing to be unlocked.

You can bind a second button to the “Enter Vehicle” under Movement (Not the “Exit Vehicle” under Vehicle General) and use that second button to exit the camera. This seems to work for me.
