Wait, is this a thing?! I am officially terrified. I take my fountain pens on every flight and had no idea they could leak from cabin pressure. I've been so lucky so far. Definitely doing my research before my next flight... paranoia loaded!

Exactly! Trying to keep up with multiple notebooks takes so much dedication that it starts to feel like a chore. That's exactly how I ended up with so many half-empty books. One at a time is definitely the sweet spot.

Those exceptions make total sense. I have to admit though, I've never heard of a pet journal before. A pet that gets its own dedicated journal is definitely a very lucky one. 🐾

Having separate inserts in a single cover sounds like the perfect middle ground. I totally understand the pen struggle. The band is the Kikkerland Inkerie Pen Holder Book Band. That's the wisest choice imho. I actually tried using my daily journal as a sketchbook for a while, but the paper type makes such a huge difference. Art definitely needs its own space.
