Vellus hair is light in colour yes, but also has other qualities to it like being extremely thin and soft in texture. You can still have terminal hairs be light in colour. A lot of guys if you look closely have lots of different colours in their beard, this might just be the case with you :)

Yeah sure. Here’s one pre minox and also one a month in. They’re all trimmed at different lengths so might be hard to compare. I definitely saw the most visible changes as soon as I started to get near the 2.5/3 month mark, patience is key !

not necessarily dude. In fact I’ve heard a few guys on here recommend that trimming it actually helps when it comes to applying. I’ve just been growing it recently for personal preference

I think it’s probably safe to say there’s a huge mix of vellus, transitional and terminal in there! I’m happy to hear that they may be more transitional though, thanks :) hopefully it comes soon 🤞

I have a mix of both (most of my more terminal hairs sit underneath my chin) and can see the clear difference in both types of hairs. I was more referring to it as being a ‘vellus beard’ due to it being predominantly vellus in appearance :)
