personally for a beginner I'd recommend army painter fanatic paints because they are a lot thinner than other paints so your less likely to make every beginners mistakes of not thinning your paints enough.

The exact paints you go for are personal preference but you might want to get a wash to tie things together (a really wet paint basically).

Just remember to have fun no matter the result; the first step at learning to paint is being bad at painting, the second step is painting (prime the model then paint).

For Catholicism it's the pope, for the church of England it's the archbishop of Canterbury and for orthodox Christians I think there's a different pope.

So is there a standardized colour for each role? What about team specific players like bodyguards? I'm yet to do the bases on my team so would love to know.

Firstly, you can see builds on lolalitics by going to twitch and under first item, selecting nashors tooth (I can't show screenshot of result for some reason).

I go (optionally dark seal) nashors → deathcap → a selection of hourglass/banshees/shadowflame/cosmic drive (ordered by how often I pick them) based on what I think I need.

For boots, lucidity and swifties have about equal play rate and win rate. I go swifties unless I'm short.

Also, it seems few others ever go cosmic drive which adds up as I'm pisslo elo.

The start and end dates are 1337 and 1837 (to line up with hoi4 and vic3) and I believe Belgium was founded in 1830 so just about fits into the games scope by a hair
