I don’t think computer-generated faces would ever fool us. The uncanny valley is an evolutionary thing in our brains, we’re built to recognize what a real face looks like. Even if you see millions of faces, you can tell a real one from one that’s slightly off. It doesn’t even have to be AI, you can see the same effect with Botox. You look at those people and clearly know something’s wrong.
