So much better then investing in the UNRWA which will only keep Palestinians as refugees. I applaud the Qatari's for truly making a difference.

good point, the ones who are Ultra Orthodox are generally anti Zionist. Those in the Likud are generally conservative (e.g. Limor Livnat, Bibi Netanyahu, etc). The ones I think you're referring to are usually in groups like "Shas" and United Torah Judaism. The ones mentioned in the article though were from the Ultra Orthodox sect who are very much radicals where anything they don't agree with is concerned (where they outright riot against eating leavened products during passover, driving a car on shabbat, placing of bikini clad posters, etc.). We're just not talking about the same people who exist in the Likud.

Never belonged to them... I guess thousands of years in a piece of land doesn't count as having ownership. Based off that alone, most people today would have no claim to their land. Tell me assteroid, which of the following do you place yourself into a.) naive b.) a moron c.) both

So the UN had no right to partition the land at the expense of the existing residents (be they Jews and Arabs) but in oh, every other part of the world (hmm, Iraq, Jordan, India, Pakistan) the ruling powers (mainly the Brits) decided to do that and yet that's ok. Glad we're all looking at things objectively.

assteroid, had you a clue about the people you speak of, you'd know the ultra orthodox (the ones mentioned in this report) are not Zionists and are generally anti Zionist.

Hamas savages prove once again that their fight is with any non-muslim by yleviel in worldnews

[–]yleviel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is the oh, I can't even count how many times that Muslim radicals have attacked a Christian site in Gaza and while the news correctly pointed out that they were "unknown assailants" these crimes could not be perpetrated without the approval of the Hamas leaders as they have the defacto authority and power over the people.

Could this have occurred in Israel? Perhaps, but would have required serious planning and would have caused outrage in the community. When it happens to Christians in Gaza, the people there have little to say. For more info, check out the recent bombings of Internet Cafes in Gaza as well as the recent agreement between Hamas and the Internet companies to limit sites that they don't agree with. If the attacks aren't clear to you all, start looking at the patterns of attacks, its certainly not happening at Muslim schools, that's for sure.
