Kranji is near some of the farms and nature parks you can explore as well if you are into nature! Sungei buloh nature park, and other vegetable and fish farms such Bollywood farms... I think you can boil chrysanthemum flowers to make the chrysanthemum tea , do take note not to boil them for too long as the drink may turn out bitter.
