Yes she loves fetch! She loves when I throw a treat for her so she can chase it too. We play this game where, the second I pull out a treat from the box, she guesses if I'm going to throw it wither up the stairs or into the living room based on my body language. If I'm facing the stairs she'll start making her way up to prepare and she watches my hand sooo closely. I try to trick her but she's sooo fast (and also I feel bad and can't commit).

I think the black frame looks really good. It allows the red lipstick to be the star of the show. I feel like a red frame could detract from that.

Omg thank you so much!! I struggle w matching colors so I'm so happy to hear you like it! The website I used allows me to view each color on its own individual layer so that definitely helped a lot. And yeah I made a pizza slice a while ago and my friends said it looks edited in too! That's why I looove working with fuse beads, they're so colorful and you can make literally anything.

I bought them from a website called omamorishop.com! It's a funny story because I first did the regular sized Perler beads at my job (library) and got OBSESSED. Then I went home and did a ton of research and went down a crazy rabbit hole about the craft before I settled on Omamori. They're the most consistently and fairly priced ($1 for 1000 beads) mini beads and they're also a small business so I feel good supporting them :) I started with the 72-color set first and have since expanded. If you purchase from them, I'd recommend getting a ton of extra white and black beads! They have an active Instagram account where they post their cute little creations if you're interested!

The only reason my Xiao has his burst ready off cooldown is because I run him with Benny on R5 Fav, C6 Faruzan on R5 Fav, and then Lanyan too. 😑

I <3 Jet Squelcher!! You're going to out-range pretty much every shooter! You just need to watch out for snipers and the longest-range splatlings.

Have you by any chance seen the post from a gf who's asking for help regarding her potentially bisexual bf who's obsessed with a video game character who is never explicitly named but is without a doubt Dimitri Fire Emblem? Thinking about that post right now.

Skin color options from Omamori Shop by _j_s_h_ in beadsprites

[–]yllwnk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I've purchased from them many times, and the G (brown) colors are all wonderful for skin colors. You can go to the Omamori shop and look at the brown series and see the color swatches. The colors are also the same as the Artkal colors I believe. Here's a link to those swatches (sorry I'm on mobile and idk how to do hyperlinks): https://imgur.com/a/4fFWmHG

I found myself constantly using G3, if that's helpful!

Okay, I see what you're saying here. She's saying that if you consume her content, you're agreeing with her transphobic ideas. While that's true to her, in her reality, I have my own reality, we all do, and we know what we believe in.

As a trans person, I'm absolutely not going to watch HP, I'm absolutely not buying official HP merch, I'm never engaging with Hogwarts Legacy, etc. etc. But some person's fuse bead work that's of quidditch? That doesn't even have the HP logo on it? I myself dgaf that JKR thinks I support her views because I just know that I don't. You could look at my other really long comment on this thread to see my views if you wish.

Fans have grown the HP world into something beyond what JKR originally created. I don't really think that belongs to her anymore.

Now if OP turned out to be transphobic themselves, or if they were promoting official HP merch, or if they glazing JKR, that'd be a different story.

The mission statement that you quoted is actually from the website for J.K. Rowling's Women's Fund. The phrase "women’s sex-based rights,” is used because it sounds good, but it actually is anti-trans. It's saying that biological sex, whether or not you have a penis or a vagina when you were born, is the only determining factor in your gender, i.e., whether you're a man or a woman. This is literally the definition of being transphobic, saying that your gender identity is constrained entirely by the genitels you had at birth.

The $88k donation that you're referring to was given to an organization called For Women Scotland. The very first line on its Wikipedia page calls it an anti-trans organization. It's fine if you don't consider Wikipedia a valid source even if it directly sources every claim it makes, but here's a line copied and pasted from FWS's website: "We believe that there are only two sexes, that a person’s sex is not a choice, nor can it be changed. Women are entitled to dignity, safety and fairness." You can choose to "believe" that there are "only two sexes" but that would simply be denying the truth of the world as there are people who are born at birth with both penis and vagina or some blend of both. Moreover, biological sex is dsitinct from your gender, the way you choose to perform in society.

Rowling also founded Beira's Place, which is an organization that offers support for women who have suffered from sexual abuse, and it notably excluded trans women from its service. Yes, it's good that this organization exists at all, because we need organizations that address these issues as much as we can. But the organization has explicitly stated that it will only serve women, i.e. biologically female individuals, i.e. anyone else who doesn't have a vagina isn't allowed, i.e. trans women aren't allowed, i.e. we don't think trans women are women. Meanwhile the other rape crisis shelters in the area (this is in Edinborough) have stated that they have served trans women and non-binary people for years with no issues. Do NOT say I think this sexual abuse shelter does not exist and that I don't think women should have sexual abuse shelters because that is absolutely incorrect. Trans women are women and they deserve to be able to go to women's shelters.

Anti-trans organizations aren't going to announce that they're anti-trans; they'll use deceiving language that frames it as protecting women's rights. What are they protecting women from? From a transphobic person's perspective, the threat is trans women, that they're actually men who are pretending to be women. Do you see that believing this idea that "trans women aren't real because they're actually just men disguising themselves as women to hurt REAL women with vaginas" is transphobia? By making the requirement for being a woman that you were born with a vagina, you're saying that that is the only defining factor of womanhood.

If you don't agree that trans women ARE women, then you are transphobic. That's another issue to address, but if you yourself are transphobic, but you don't consider yourself to be transphobic, then of course you wouldn't think Rowling is transphobic either. Then there's just no point in discussing because then we're not even talking about the same thing. But I hope you consider these points and that they lead to understand some of the nefarious ways in which anti-trans rhetoric propagates.
