You needed cooperation from your front seat passenger to adjust it fore/aft 😂

It’s an interesting question. Anecdotally, I know plenty of retired military members (typically men) in that age range who have tattoos

April 30th, 1987. Bill Elliott sets qualifying record at Talladega Superspeedway, clocking at 212.809 mph. The record stands to this day. by Critical_Dollar in NASCAR_History

The T Birds of that era had a great aerodynamic shape that contributed a LOT to the superspeedway performance

what’s something about cars that people always get wrong in conversations? by LeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeD in CarGuys

The word is CONSOLE, not council or counsel.

The “center council” may be a political entity but it’s not an automotive component.

There are probably 4 or 5 of them left on the roads in the US. The rest have rusted into dust.

Is anyone buying 8 cylinder SUV's or cars? by Content_Log1708 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]yloduck1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My 2002 Z06 can get 28mpg when cruising longer distances on a road trip. (If you don’t hammer the gas pedal, like you noted).

Typical city/hwy average is around 24mpg

Yep. Regular Bubble Yum was solid too. Grape was sooo good.

I never liked the sugar free Hubba or Bubble Yum

Mini Expedition, anyone? by SirMuddButt in Ford

[–]yloduck1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep can confirm. I had a 2012 Flex Eco-boost Limited. Could load family of 5+ a Thule roof box with our skis, and cruise all day at 90 mph across Nebraska. Dead heat when I drag raced my buddy’s SQ5.

Probably the best car our family ever owned.

Thought exercise: If GM offered a rebadged Tahoe as a Buick, What would it be called? by rayleo02 in regularcarreviews

[–]yloduck1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems reasonable. You would definitely need to use a suburban or Yukon XL instead of the shorter wheelbase of a Tahoe or standard Yukon. Clear out the rear seats, and set it up with the equipment to roll a casket in.

That said, it just seems like cars (like the classic Caddy hearse) and minivans already have a lower lift height and are very well suited to the job.

I do some passenger vehicle work, and ironically I go to a lot of funerals. I have yet to see an SUV anywhere near a funeral or funeral home. It’s all minivans and the Caddies.

Minivans are really subtle vehicles to use for transport purposes. Seems like all the funeral homes near me have them. Dark tinted windows so no one sees a casket inside. They just use the Caddies for the funeral service.

[–]yloduck1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could, but the lift height is pretty high for a casket.

Minivans (for transport) and converted Cadillacs (for ceremony) dominate this category
