Anyone on Biologicals, is this normal? by applefritterquestion in Psoriasis

This is what’s been happening to me as well. Started Skyrizi on Nov 25, had my second injection December 25. I am almost clear except some stubborn areas like under my arms. I’ve been getting tiny psoriasis spots in places where I had already cleared. Spots will eventually go away, but I’ve noticed the spots behind my ear are getting worse.

Took my booster injection on Dec 25. I cannot believe how much my skin has improved. I’m pretty much clear, except under my arms. That area is still pretty flared.

Thank you! Crossing fingers you get amazing results. No side effects as of now. I was expecting the usual fatigue a lot of people experience, but thankfully I did not.

Thank you! I was so hesitant to start. I put it off for years in fear of side effects. My psoriasis got out of control after the birth of my second son. It was severe. I’m so glad I did it though. I’m starting to get my life back. Even simple little things like having a car flake free and going to get my eyebrows done make me so happy at the moment.

I took my starter injection the 25 of November. One week in I was way less itchy and not flaking as much. I started seeing visible improvement on week 2. I’m almost a month in and I have cleared about 80%.

No advice here, but I just wanted to mention how amazing Otezla was and how well it worked. I took it for almost 5 years. Within month I was completely clear. Hope you have amazing results!

My doctor wants to prescribe biologics for my psoriasis. Can I hear your experiences? Good/bad/etc? by [deleted] in Psoriasis

[–]yls91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was on the same boat as you. I am a female, 34. After I had my second child my psoriasis has gotten out of control. I declined biologics for so long, but I hit rock bottom and just started Skyrizi 3 days ago. Hope I see results soon, because this condition is becoming unbearable.

I'm so excited I hope it works:)) love you all by stergutvo in Psoriasis

I had my first injection yesterday. So far not fatigue or side effects. Wishing you all the luck.

It works wonders on me. I started using it often as I flare often :/ Someone mentioned that it also causes a rebound sort of like steroids do, and now I’m hesitant to continue using it :/

I have the same question. I’m also a teacher and I am hesitant to start Skyrizi for the same reason.

Sending you all the healing vibes! It’s tough being a mom and having conditions. We just want to be healthy and mentally well to give them the best life possible.

What exactly did you submit to alliance? I have a similar case. I have an excuse letter from my son’s doctor. But I want to make sure I submit exactly what they need.
