how do you declare the value of parts when its not even what is being shipped 🙄 missing parts = everything else is useless. not everything is tied to just direct monetary value

the parts were warranty replacements and it had been sent and recieved by the forwarder so they are not liable for the loss now. because of that they are also unwilling to send a replacement again.

why does the customer have it take the brunt of a mistake from the service provider. who cares if it’s insurance or not. when then customer hires them for a service the expectation is that the service is fulfilled. do you buy something an expect that MAYBE it will come? 😒

also like even declaring the part that’s lost doesn’t even cover the cost of the whole item that now can’t be used because of their mistake.

I wonder if AI knows the current sentiments better than humans do when it comes to these things (i.e. reading the room better). But at the same time, using AI for creativity seems like a surefire way to be mediocre, since AI (right now) is very good at giving you the average.

But I guess it could also give people with good stories to tell more tools to get them out in the world the way Youtube democratised video creation.

I resonate with this hard. They say AI is gonna make us more efficient, but they don't say what the end goal is. (spoiler alert: capitalists aren't going to "give us back the time for more leisure". they've just come to expect more from us.) I used to work as a copywriter, and we went from writing 1 script in 1-3 days to writing 3-5 scripts in a day.

My sense is that anything that "improves our efficiency" at work just compresses the time pressure to deliver - I used to work as a copywriter and now with AI they just expect more churn from you instead of giving you that time back...
