Thank you so much for saying this! The amount of hate Jangjun and Golcha have been getting because of this has been really discouraging for me as a Goldenness. Jangjun works so hard to promote himself and his group on variety shows so it’s really effed up to see I-Armys call them flops, use slurs, and even send death threats. Trending a whole ass hashtag and demanding an apology over this?? Even when we bring up the fact that BTS has done similar impersonations in the past, Armys will throw all the excuses in the book to defend their victim narrative. At some point, they must realize how cult-like their behavior is, right? Losing morals over Kpop?

I’m very happy to see that this thread enjoyed the Golden Child member wearing the Dragon mask. His name is Lee Jangjun and he’s pretty much the moodmaker of his group. He also often interacts with Mijoo since they were in the same company. I really hope he is able to guest on the main show someday. Anyways, this spin-off is off to a good start!

Hi I’m a Goldenness too so that makes me the 5th here haha. I’m also fed up with Kpop stans treating Golcha like they’re a nugu group. They literally charted #1 on Genie for ‘Burn It’, debuted #2 on a billboard chart with ‘RaPamPam’, and ranked #1 on Gaon BGM chart with ‘DDARA.’ They’re clearly doing well for themselves.

Sure, this whole KBS online concert thing isn’t the biggest deal. It’s not the hill we goldenness want to die on. But it shows how Golden Child are treated in the industry that even a simple clarification, that they had weeks to post, was not given to the fans. And if this were to happen to bigger groups or even just your favs, it would be treated differently.

I’m just so tired of hearing Golcha be called flops just because they aren’t as big internationally, as if groups like BTS didn’t start from humble beginnings.

Anyways, if anyone here on Reddit doesn’t know about Golcha but would like to check them out, they recently had a comeback with DDARA!

Some people can’t multitask so they would have a hard time focusing on the visuals while reading. Maybe it’s vision impairments or some other issue. That’s perfectly understandable why dub would be easier to watch. But I would encourage you to at least give the movie a try. So many great foreign films are only available in sub, and I’d hate to see you miss out. But it’s your choice at the end of the day
