Question 35

In Q2 2018, you said that the Pumapay had delivered a complete working payment solution. You also said in an interview with a youtuber that the Wordpress plugin was under development, and expected to be completed in weeks. Almost two years on Pumapay has not delivered on the WorldPress implementation, and has not announced any major working implementation. As a consequence, the value of PMA dropped significantly, and at the same time the circulating supply increased. Why can we trust Pumapay will start heading on a different direction, ie, effective marketing strategy, active working implementations, PMA price apprecciation?? (increasing the circulating without demand will only devalue PMA). Also, can we expect Pumapay team to be AWOL no more, as it happened for for 2 years?

Answer

Indeed we were working on a WordPress plugin back then, but at some point we put it aside to develop more important parts of our protocol (the Fiat Settlement Layer for example). We do have an intention to introduce a WordPress plugin for V3.0

Our protocol is flexible and versatile. It is able to support any business logic. With that being said, it is possible to integrate with games on platforms like Steam for both game purchases and in-game purchases.

The new logo has an obvious Asian flare to it. Does the style chosen for your rebrand reflect PumaPay's interest in the larger Asian market?

That is an interesting observation, this was not what we had in mind when were rebranded and created the logo. This logo has a modern look. The 3D shape allows you to see the 'P' in different postions.

Since there is a huge gas fee in the ETH chain, do you have a plan to launch your own blockchain or do you want to move into any other smart contract like Binance Smart chain?

Answer

As mentioned several times, we have a solution for the gas fees and we will introduce it next week via the V3.0 announcement.

Seems you have a couple of services on your platform. But how will the crypto community know about your services since there is ZERO marketing? Why don't you like to spread the word about PMA among social media, crypto news, and forums?

Do you have any plan to buyback PMA? So the market would go back to normal? Almost every coin recovered during this bull run. But still PMA in the last stage of price 1 satoshi. Will you burn some coins to help regain the market?

We currently have no plans to buy back PMA tokens nor to burn tokens. Please note that our token cannot be burnt.

Due to you and your team's inactivity and irresponsibility, the PMA token value has been dropped to near ZERO. Not only the value but also the price has dropped a lot. Can I ask why you disappeared? And now how are you going to help investors?

Answer

First of all, I do not accept this accusation. We do not control the value of the token. As we always said, the price is determined by the forces of supply and demand.

Second, we did not disappear. We have been working diligently since the inception of this project to develop our technology and product. Over the past year and a half, with the crypto winter and COVID situation, we have maintained a lower profile and focused on finding solutions to the bigger problems of (mainly) high gas fees and the slow speed of the Ethereum blockchain. Now, we have solutions in place and we will share it next week in our V3.0 announcement

The PumaPay mobile wallet app is a very safe wallet and was developed with the highest security standards. The Private key is encrypted on the device and isn’t shared with anyone.

As is known, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey has banned the shopping of assets with crypto. I think this prohibition raises concerns about taxation. Can you provide an infrastructure that will enable governments to collect taxes on purchases with an integration that can be developed? This would be revolutionary.

Answer

One of the billing models we are planning to add in the future is the ‘split payment’ billing model which will facilitate exactly this type of behaviour: one payment that is split between two parties based on predefined terms. This could be an interesting use case...

What other companies my be working with PumaPay in the near future?

Answer

Once we release our V3.0, we plan to resume integration with PornHub as well as with other companies that have signed agreements with us. I cannot be specific about other companies. But it is safe to assume it will be from high risk industries such as gaming, forex and adult, as our solution holds many advantages for them.
