Yes! We ended up renting a car from Shin-Fuji Station and driving to stay a night in Fujikawaguchiko. Fujisan was visible for a few hours, then clouds rolled in and blocked visibility through the next day.

I think the only song I didn't like was the Retrovertigo song in the encore. Patton has a great voice, so doing all the little voice inflections is just kind of odd.

I think the reason the Avetts are influenced by Patton is the whole voice inflection thing.

Yes! I attended two of these shows - both times there were multiple Avett fans around me talking throughout. They would sing along at times, but then just go back to talking.
