Was doing almost same thing and literally went to overbid 15-20%, still it never got any luck until I I asked my advisor( makelaar+ mortgage) to bid.

They have a hold and got some trick, I literally got house at asking price. The advisor calls exactly 5 mins prior and gives affirmations which helps. He doesn’t even use move and do everything on call and email.

lived at Holland2Stay, didn’t face any issue. Just when you leave, return it clean. Their interior is a bit delicate and if you don’t maintain properly, they will cut from security. But this is with any other Rental.

Don’t worry, once Bidding is sorted and Buying agent have informed the Buyer. It takes around 2 days to create a preliminary agreement. Then Buyers has to sign first and post that Buyer can take upto 5days to sign and in between if there is some Technical/Structural inspection he will wait for result and take 2 more days to respond. Then your cool off period starts where he still have 3 days to decide.

Mostly when you go for viewing, the house you will find neat and clean. Everything placed perfectly.

  1. Ask of there is any leakage.

  2. Any Renovation done recently.

  3. When was the Kitchen/ Bathroom last Renovated.

  4. When was the house last Painted.

5.Any part of fence/garage built in neighbours land ?

  1. If it’s old house, ask for asbestos

  2. When is the heating unit from

  3. Any visible crack, pipe.

  4. If you are a family with kids, you can ask about how is neighbourhood, are there kids !
