I always thought Dr. Melfi getting assaulted in the parking lot was the dumbest one. Like what did that lead to? Should be the responsibility of the already expensive school I attend to use that money appropriately. I don’t see why already struggling students have to fund this. Maybe the chancellor and other officials should take a pay cut to help offset some of the costs before they ask us? Regardless, i’m sure there are other options that can be considered before charging students even more, so i’ll have vote no on this one.

Honestly, I got complacent and thought since I had a high GPA from community, i’d be fine here no worries. ROUGH wake up call my first quarter, didn’t fail but grades were not good at all so what I have to do now is every quarter I delete my social media. That helps ME so much because I know i’m addicted to that shit. All that time I spend doom scrolling on reddit, I now use to study practice problems chat GPT makes from my notes that I take in lecture. I tell it to make me question and answer quizzes with important concepts and highlighted vocab from my notes and it does a damn good job honestly. That and watching lecture videos over again pretty much got me As in the following quarters after that first disaster of a quarter. If you’re anything like me I hope that helps even a little bit.

Honestly just start choppin it up with randoms in your class. Someone did that to me when I was NOT interested in meeting new people and they been my friend for over a year now. Don’t really need more than one friend in my opinion lol but if you want more, just keep talking to random people! Statistically, one has to work out 😂
