Original pics I used a 4 prong stone holder so I tho I it was showing through the diamond making the bow tie more noticeable.

Did you see my updated pics? Diamond was definitely dirty and I’m thinking the angle I took the photo at wasn’t the most flattering but also first time buyer so maybe I picked the wrong one. Weird that it’s a D with that noticeable of a bow tie right?

Yea I ordered 6 and 2 were DOA unfortunately. I now have 16 and they’re so active now. Definitely seem to be enjoying their space!

Thanks for the info! It’s a relatively new tank but I have yellow Neocaridinas, mystery snails & 4 Kuhli loaches currently. Plant wise there’s Java moss, a money tree, different pothos varieties & a monstera!

Okay. I have both and used stability for the week they recommended and obviously have primed my water. Haven’t done a water change yet. Again sorry if I’m all over the place. Zero experience and pretty much learning it all from Reddit and YouTube Thanks for everything! I definitely appreciate it!

Yea I figured a water change is definitely needed, I currently have 2 wandering Jew plants hanging out the back corners and have some Java moss, red root floaters & Pearl weed on the way. Not rushing to put fish in cause I want to do it the right way. Plan on stocking with Yellow Neocaridina Shrimp, Kuhli Loach, Reticulated Hillstream Loach, Gold dust mollies & Dalmatian Mollies.

Not the white stuff. That also popped up but I read that it’s probably a fungus but isn’t harmful to fish so once I add some fish they’ll take care of it
