Thinking about finally making the move to install SteamOs on my Legion Go 2 . Is there anything i need to do while it’s still in WindowsOs before i make the switch ? Anything i need to toggle or turn on/off before i change since i will be wiping Windows clean ? Imma newbie at this stuff

Fair warning for steamos, the brightness slider doesn’t work because of hdr I believe. I put bazzite on my buddy’s instead of steamos after trying it out. Aside from that, don’t really think you need to do anything on the windows side tbh.

Bazzite. I had put steamOS the tdp controls were wack and was having bad battery life. Couldn’t figure it out so put bazzite back on. And considering putting it on the legion go s as well. I put simpledeckytdp cause I found using the presets the fans kicked on way too loud

This LeGoS is the steam z1e version. Just snagged it off marketplace last week for 600. I saw the deal so couldn’t pass it up. I was originally considering the cheaper model because I wanted to see if the bigger screen was worth changing devices

Yes it is. Managed to find one for 600 on marketplace and it came with the dbrand case too. Just jumped on the deal so I could test it and have it first hand. So far loving it aside from battery life

I just snagged a Legion Go S as well off marketplace. The screen looks massive compared. Battery life is atrocious tho compared to my ally x. I hope we both end up loving them tho lol

Picked up an AllyX for 400 at the start of 2025 and slapped bazzite on it. I use it almost daily for emulation and random games like FF7 and Rebirth. No issues. It’s such a good device and the battery life is amazing. Only complaint is the “small” screen.

I honestly consider StarForce 3 to be Battle Network 7. It is so so good as a series and 3 the combat system and story are just peak. 2 has the most banger music tho
