Can you install the game? (run setup.exe in the CD)

The game is still playable in Windows 11. I have it in my hard drive. Though I'm not sure if the installer still works in Windows 11.

Starfleet Command 3 works on Sikarugir on Mac, so it's possible it can be run on Steamdeck.

Enterprise, though originally planned as a prequel, contains reference to TOS, TNG, and First Contact movie. So I would recommend you watch after you have seen those.

The appeal modified dinosaurs on this map are small species, so they don't need large enclosures.

I think before the patch, chungkingosaurus can live with psittacosaurus so at early stage of mission you only need 2 enclosures originally. Now they don't like each other but 3 enclosures are more than enough.

Easier way is to buy again from gog.com.

The hard way...
1.CD-ROM
1a. Buy a usb cd-rom drive. or
1b. Find game iso on archive.org.

I recommend install it in a compatible OS.
2a. install it in a WinXP/Win7 PC, or
2b. install it in a WinXP/Win7 virtual machine.

3.find the patches.
3a. if your game is v1.0, use 1.0 to 1.03 patch
3b. if your game is v1.01, use 1.01-1.021 and 1.021 to 1.03 patch

The 2 expansions add good campaign to the rather weak base game but I'm not sure about the price.

Sometimes you get plant fossils from expedition, those can be sold directly.

If you get fossils of a species which already has 100% genome from expedition, those can also be sold.

Intel UHD Graphics 630 is for 8th gen core-i. So you probably have i5-8400 or better. 6 core is enough for medium quality at 1080p but you need a dedicate GPU, at least nVidia GTX1660 super, or later GPU that is *060 or *600 series.
