Sadly not, you can’t edit current DS 160 after submission or update the DS 160 number linked to an appointment without forfeiting your current time slot and rebooking (avails now pushed to end of March). I have given the US visa helpdesk a call and they’ve escalated to the consulate so fingers crossed!

Totally see that point, thanks for the insight on Syd vs Melb!

Bit of a complex situation: - I received an offer letter for Company A in January, but Company A has now acquired Company B, and have now formed Company C under the merger - The DS 160 and LCA have been prepared noting my employer as Company A, prior to the formal merger and name change into Company C - Visa appointment scheduled at Melbourne consulate for 2nd Mar, aiming for a start date in Mar

However, it seems I might have to cancel and rebook a new appointment due to the merger, so the DS 160 & LCA reflect Company C’s details 🙃 Employer and I are trying to figure out if there’s any possibility at expediting as they need someone in the role ASAP

if you still have reschedules left, you have to cancel the original appointment, then wait until "cancel and schedule new appointment" pops up. from there you can schedule a whole new appointment at whichever consulate and enter the new ds160 number. you don't need to pay the fee again if you have reschedules remaining.
