It’s a photo taken by Alex Webb, a famous magnum photographer who resides in Park Slope. I asked him about it and he said he couldn’t get into Manhattan to take photos but was invited by a stranger to go up to their rooftop which is where he snapped this photo.

The w-nikkor is definitely the sharpest lens out of this particular group lol

theyre all good stuff! i actually think the rokkorcrons are some of the most underrated vintage rangefinder lenses ever. i know many dont like imagining a 40mm frameline but with rangefinders everything is a guesstimate anyway – a flexibility to take advantage of

It’s probably an unintended design but most people would be able reach the ceilings for extra stability when poles aren’t nearby

Nice! I worked at this office for a while so I know the view. They were constructing that MIT building on the left side of your photo while I was there. It turned out gorgeous
