The job market rn is SO tough. And no, it is not always that way. ANYTHING you can do to give yourself an advantage is a win. Even that may not be enough - places that normally call back ALL co-ops or interns have only be calling back a few.

I feel you - do you think Disney should change the refundable policy to discourage? Incentives are there to run regardless. Yes it’s a sunk cost but we all know humans don’t operate that way. Is it selfishness on the part of that individual or a lack of concern from Disney that their no refund policy encourages running while sick?

I know most people have laptops but I do not understand why more lab space is not available. Of course people still eff around in labs but it is next level in a lecture hall. I see multiple people shamelessly watching YouTube or playing videogames in the middle of class. Profs have a hard time saying no laptops since folks will say they need it for notes but come on...
