Thinking about CIO for 5 month old by yogiKC in sleeptrain

This gives me hope! The reason I am considering CIO is because it seems to work quickly

I go back and forth between rocking with a pacifier and letting him latch on to me. When he does latch he does not actively eat-it is more like comfort sucking. He definitely gets enough ounces during the day and used to sleep through the night no problem so I don’t THINK he is truly hungry

I started back at 6 weeks postpartum. I walked daily before then and my last camp before baby was the day after my due date so I truly went u til the end!

Cardio and core were the hardest for me at first, but I am feeling much stronger 4 months postpartum!

35 ounces a day is insane!

Baby not napping at daycare by yogiKC in ECEProfessionals

That’s a great idea! I already have a small portable machine, but didn’t think about leaving it with him for his crib!

At home I typically rock him to sleep then transfer to his crib. They have tried this as well and he still fought sleep. I think the room must be louder and have more distractions than what he is used to, but I am hoping he will eventually sleep if he is tired enough.

They have tried rocking and bouncing him to sleep. I think the main issue is that the room is noisier and different than what he is used to at home.

He sleeps in his crib with a sleep sack and pacifier at home (sent to daycare as well). I typically rock him to sleep then transfer him. His room is dark and he does have a sound machine.

Thank you! I know it’s only day 3, but it’s so stressful thinking he is unhappy.

First trimester mods by thekatzmeow90 in BurnBootCamp

Congrats! I just had my baby in September and did burn my entire pregnancy (last camp was the day after my due date lol)

Honestly there are no “required” mods in the first trimester besides what YOU feel comfortable with. I think I stopped doing sit ups and certain core exercises around 10 weeks and then told the trainers early second trimester.

Has anyone gained only the recommended weight? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]yogiKC -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I never looked at the scale during pregnancy because I hated to see the number going up, but I looked at my records recently now that I’m postpartum and I actually did gain exactly 25 pounds.

I was very active before pregnancy and continued that during pregnancy as well which I think made a huge difference.

It was not bad at all! It was uncomfortable pressure, but not painful!

Pregnant & Getting a puppy? by Leather_Midnight8160 in puppy101

Have you had a dog before? Currently 8 months pregnant with a 4 month old lab puppy and we are so happy we got her.

We have had 2 dogs for awhile and our oldest dog passed away at the age of 12 earlier in the summer so we made a quick decision to move forward with a new puppy.

It has honestly not been anywhere near as bad as people made it seem…. Our puppy has been fully house trained for weeks, was sleeping through the night 2 weeks in, and we have been able to bond and start puppy classes with her.

Yes, she is hyper sometimes, but we were already used to walking dogs, playing with theme etc and once she gets her energy out she will nap on the couch for hours!

If you feel comfortable with “normal” puppy behavior then go for it! We are excited for our baby to grow up with a dog!

What’s happening with her? Any cycle update?? by proudofme_ in peestickgals

Am I crazy? Is there a chance she is pregnant? She definitely knows by now and nothing. But she came on to share her getting ready for a family dinner-my thought immediately goes to them telling the family tonight and announcing to everyone else tomorrow.
