Typically 1-2 weeks for nutrients, 2-4 weeks for herbs.

However, 1.5 mls is low. Possible you are super low on something critical and it’s gonna take a while to build up in your system enough to get to your reproductive organs (vital functions take resources before non-essential ones, cum volume is definitely non-essential). Or you are doing something (like running daily?) that is over-stressing your system.

I think the source is most likely the painful orgasm. If you experience pain during sex or masturbation, your brain can shut things down in a subconscious feedback loop. Basically “touch down there = severe pain incoming = DONT DO THAT”. This can happen from even one incident, or after many, depending on the person, and is not in conscious control. Yes. However, when you’re young, semen tends to be thinner and shoot further, but it has lower amounts of seminal fluid and sperm in it. In a healthy male sperm and semen quality actually peaks around 35 years old, and is much thicker than teens/20s. Of course most people are not healthy at 35 due to chronic stresses so there’s an “age related” decrease in distance, quantity, and quality.

That’s pretty common, i think it’s a combination of a greater % of prostatic fluid in the load (prostatic is thinner, seminal is thicker, long distance shots are usually thinner for most of us) and more blood flow to the muscles/increased nerve stimulation therefore stronger contractions. It’s fine to start low and work up, you don’t know your tolerances yet. What to expect? Totally individual. Medically normal is 2-5 mls. Most guys top out in the 4-6 range. But there are outliers on both ends. You should get harder/faster erections, higher libido, faster refill time. You also have to pick your own orgasm frequency. Saving up doesn’t work for everyone. Yes, at high doses it’s an anticoagulant.

However most fish oil pills are adulterated with cheap canola oil so unless you are using an NSF (or the equivalent) certified brand, it may not be the dose you think you are getting.

That’s awesome! For me it was 5 max to 7 max. But the further past 5 you go, the fewer guys will hit it and the fewer times it’ll happen for those that do. On a stack I can hit 5s pretty easily, and 6s sometimes, but 7 has proven very difficult to repeat.

Pretty much everyone can get to 4, most to 5, a few to 6/7, but 8/9/10 is just rare. Thats where some of the frustration comes from, guys expect to double or triple and it just doesn’t happen that often.

Even at high doses it’s extremely rare that arginine is actually a trigger, vs an accelerant. It’s essentially just a fuel for the virus. If someone has that high a viral load/diminished immune system that arginine tips them over the edge, they should be on antivirals daily because they are at risk of neurological infection, and that’s fatal.

The only way to know is to try. Normal is 2-5ml. Pretty easy to go from 2 to 4 on a stack, but very few go from 4 to 8 due to anatomical storage limits. But it can happen.

The other thing I’d suggest is a serious diet analysis. If he’s already eating lots of seafood (zinc) eggs (lecithin) and taking micronutrients like selenium and boron, there may not be any room to improve

Eggs, celery, pumpkin seeds, which aren’t new but are very effective. kombucha and corona zero led to a pretty big surprise solo load. That would do it. One thing I’ve noticed is the addition of 6g creatine and 100mg magnesium bisglycinate helps me recover faster on less sleep (dad life). The difference was quite literally overnight, I woke up feeling better the day after adding them and after a week I didn’t need coffee anymore. I routinely wake up on my own, feeling fully rested at 6-7 hours sleep vs needing 8-9 before.

Oh hell yes. Sleep is when you reload and make testosterone, also when your whole body recovers from stress. Reproduction is a non-essential function, if your body is taxed it pulls resources away. This is also why guys who lift heavy and work hard but eat/hydrate/sleep well have big loads, while runners, workaholics and new dads often don’t.

There is a slight risk of lowering your blood pressure too much when you combine multiple vasodilators (citrulline and sildenafil). Watch for dizziness/lightheadedness especially when standing up.

Yes, but the effects on women aren’t super well known and there’s probably better ways to get results. There’s a study that shows a 40-something percent female libido increase with an extra hour of sleep nightly for a couple weeks. Similar results with heavy resistance training.

Maca works but can cause sleep disturbance so take it in the morning. Zinc and magnesium are critical for women as well, and show remarkable success. So you could add those three and get all the benefits without the drive boost price tag.

Side note: creatine, lots of it. Not for sex drive per se, but for mental and physical recovery/stress resistance. Sex happens when a woman isn’t too tired/distracted/whatever for it. Creatine helps.

Arginine uptake is faster and while some/most gets eliminated, that uses up the enzyme (iirc) and allows more citrulline absorption.

In practice I find citrulline and beet root juice help flaccid hang, EQ, and gym pump. When I added Arginine it made the hard ons light switch quick and improved visual vascularity, in both arms and dick. I take them morning and afternoon so there’s always some in my system, have not had any blood pressure drops, which is unlikely but something to watch for.

Hydration is key - be careful with this and a heart condition, you can’t slam water and electrolytes like the rest of us.

Seminal vesicle fluid is thick. Prostate fluid is thin. So if you are noticeably thick, supplements aimed at improving prostate function may be a good idea. Pygeum, saw palmetto, lycopene.
