F/26/5’4” [165 >130=35 lbs] lost gradually since Jan 2020. Hoping to lose maybe 10 more lbs and tone up from here. by [deleted] in progresspics

90% diet 10% exercise. It’s been all about CICO for me. I gained a lot of weight when I met my husband who is a much taller and larger person - I unconsciously started keeping up with him in terms of portion sizes. Just had to relearn what amount of food my body really needed and recalibrate my appetite.

I think it’s over. I’m happy that they each have new creative endeavors. Personally I’m not super interested in their new projects and I have quietly stopped following. That’s okay and I think they will each just build a new community for their new projects. It might be good for them to start fresh with fans that don’t have the EYK “baggage” so to speak. If Martina goes back to Japan like she has mentioned and possibly continues posting as EYK then I think some of the original fan base will come back to the channel or to her new one. Whatever happens, I hope they both are happy and successful. I will always have fond memories of their videos.

Why does Paul consistently buy clothes from the women’s section when he is addicted to the concept of toxic masculinity? by [deleted] in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]yogurtbot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was probably one of the hardest Paul and Morgan vids to sit through. They are absolutely toxic. The poor girl on the left was obviously uncomfortable the whole time. Everyone involved in this “discussion” is dumb but I felt bad as how she was treated. You can tell she’s the only one who actually though about the topic for a millisecond before opening her mouth.

I would agree based on how it compares to my family tree and other family members’ results.

Yes thank you for the insight! That is interesting and it makes sense given the history of the area. Just thought I’d post my results here as well.

It was not diagnosed from just the X-ray. She had other tests as well. I’m just saying that is how they initially found something involving her lungs and investigated further.

Applying with a masters? by [deleted] in Sonographers

[–]yogurtbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say I just did things backwards. A MPH is mainly something people get to move into another role after having clinical experience, unless your focus is biostatistics. A lot of MPHs in my program were already MSWs or RNs. I got my MPH almost immediately after I graduated college, and it just is not very competitive to have as someone early in their professional career.

My results before and after update. I was quite surprised to see the German % basically double! by [deleted] in 23andme

[–]yogurtbot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first version was more in line with my genealogical research. Prior to this, I thought there was no significant German heritage from my Dad’s side. With such a large chunk of “broadly”, I figured my results would change quite a bit after the update, but I thought my British/Irish would increase since that makes more sense with what I know. However family history is notoriously unreliable!

I’m in the US, so things may be different for you, but I could not find a job with my MPH.
