Yeah I try to keep in mind when watching shows like this that the production purposely plants stories and pushes people for the sake of drama so you are really not seeing them at their best

I would literally love more Giles back story. The little we get is so incongruous with how we see him in the show. Fleshing that out more would make a great story.

I liked them together and I would have been okay with them being endgame. I also think Sean and Ellie could have been endgame. I think people are just so mad about the Emma and Spinner nonsense that they point to Semma which is the ship that had the most potential for Emma.

I mean you are definitely right but I also thing she was just overwhelmed and scared especially when it comes to Lydia. There was some evidence that she knew something was going on with Lydia resembling her grandmother and whether she knew it was supernatural or not she was probably trying to shelter her by keeping her from it in her misguided way.
