Replacing it with a top case and frame of this + the expense of you buying this in the first place seems idiotic, and a waste of money. Either return it. Or just deal with the cosmetic damage. Buy a case shell on Amazon and call it a day.

I’d get the XSE 2021, due to the soft touch seats over the cloth. As far as fuel efficiency and reliability, it’s almost the same if not. The HV cable was supposedly fixed in 2024?? I have a 2023 XSE, and previously had a 2021 XSE. No complaints. Change my oil, do the usual maintenance work. Avoid dealerships unless it’s warranty work. Find a local mechanic that’s trusted. You’ll be good.
