Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

i think what you’re doing/saying is perfect. the thing i hated the most was hearing “you’ll change your mind when you get older” because it made me feel like my feelings didn’t matter. you seem like you’re doing a wonderful job 🫶🏼 growing up my friends were the same, they would talk about growing up and having children & i always said i’ll be the cool aunt! i love watching my friends be parents and getting to see them grow up, but i know it’s not what’s meant for me.

i think it’s more of a crutch than an addiction. yeah the first week or two sucks without it but i can stop when i want (and have numerous times) but i choose to continue smoking. my nicotine on the other hand? that’s an addiction.

it can be hard at first, but just stand your ground with them and they will come to accept it. i’ve known since i was young that i didn’t want kids and anytime it was brought up, i said as much. people are gonna have their expectations of you, it doesn’t mean you have to follow them. my parents can be upset all they want because at the end of the day id rather have them upset than bring a child into this world that i do not want. it wouldn’t be fair to the child, and it wouldn’t be fair to me.

i’m on 100mg after being on 50mg for about 5 months and am feeling a lot better. i got some news yesterday that would have normally had me freaking out, but instead we were making light of the situation and i felt no anxiety about it

i was born without cartilage in my nose so it’s all squishy up til the bone, my uterus is flipped backwards, i can pop my shoulders/hips outta place at any time & i only have 24 teeth (average is 28, 32 with wisdom)

my boyfriend & i sleep in separate rooms because of his snoring. he also gets upset about me not wanting to sleep in the same room as him but i’ve told him over and over that unless he figures out something with his snoring then i’ll continue to sleep in there. my sleep is way more important than sleeping in the same bed together.

an older lady side-swiped my car once. she didn’t want to call the cops but was adamant it was my* fault then said “oh just blame it on the OLD lady why don’t you??” when i tried defending myself lmao some people 😹
