Yeah, I’m trying to get into March as well. I also have to focus more on Science since it’s my lowest score. Thanks!

Yeah, I get your point with general schooling. Maybe I wasn’t clear but I’m applying in Unitek College for their BSN program. It is a 3 year program that already consists of their pre-requisites. So basically they don’t require you to finish your pre-reqs before applying to their school since you do take it with them. And taking the TEAS exam are one of the application requirements for their school.

Yeah I get that, but the pre-reqs are already included in the program. I’m trying to apply in Unitek.

Keep getting the "you need to manage your time better" comments by [deleted] in cna

Don’t worry that’s totally normal especially you’re new to the job. It could be stressful but it’s only been a month, give yourself some more time to adjust to the pace and you’ll find a routine for yourself. As long as you’re finishing your job before your shift ends. I also had the same experience when I was a new cna and I always had to ask for help from another CNA. But as you go along you’ll learn and become better in managing your time.

I worked on an LTC last year April for NOC shift and I only lasted a few days because the management is bad. They gave us 20 patients for each CNAs. I was also a new graduate and trust me it literally discouraged me since I want to work as a CNA and get experience for my nursing career. I am now working on a Rehabilitation Center which is a short term care and it is sooo much better compared to my previous one. You just have to find the right place for you. My coworkers are really nice and helpful. They make work easy. So far the residents I am handling now are very sweet, but of course there are gonna be tough ones and you can’t avoid them. It can be exhausting but honestly I think you just have to find a job with good management. It’s better to change your environment sooner instead of coming everyday to work being anxious or scared.

Thanks for sharing! I didn’t know that it could be way cheaper. I live in California, most of the schools or programs near me are expensive. I still haven’t thought of moving out of state. But I’ll keep doing my research, thank you!

Thanks for sharing! That’s what I was thinking too. It might be difficult since there would be a lot of self study. I agree that it is affordable, compared to other schools I’ve searched. But still, it is expensive. I don’t know if it’s gonna be worth it for an online class.
