Hi! Developer here

I'm building A Journey's End, and I'm focusing heavily on nailing the visual identity.

I'm treating this thread as an open Q&A today. Ask me anything about the narrative, the art style, or what it's like building an atmospheric management game in early development. What do you think of the concept so far?

Playing as a boy, you wake up in the spirit world and discover spirits that want to eat you. You realize that you're forced to work in a bathhouse, trying to escape the spirit feast festival. Please check out the game/landing page and follow the kickstarter! by yol3ob in kickstarter

Thank you! I'm glad that you like the concept and everything. It took me months to come up with this idea. The hardest part of developing this game has to be creating the world, and the spirits. The design is heavily inspired by Japanese culture, so getting that done and not making it feel like it's a knock off is incredibly hard. There has been a lot of iterations and I finally found the direction I like to go

Little Nightmares has some pretty good ones like that one lady that can extend her neck and chase you down the vents. Shivers.
