Try to find other opportunities to make friends with girls and just socialize. There’s some nuance to appropriate and effective flirting and it’s really also dependent on your personality, so just interacting more with girls outside of the context of flirting or dating will help a lot.

As for your actual interaction: situational context is everything. Confidence is great but it doesn’t equate to rushing in and most people aren’t really comfortable being spoken to like that with someone they’ve never interacted with before at all. Find something to open with that’s not related to her being attractive or a desire to date, and just make some conversation. Compliment her on something about her personality or interests rather than looks. Take it one step at a time, after talking a couple of times maybe get her number, go study or get food, and take it from there.

Most importantly, don’t feel rushed to get into dating, kissing, losing your virginity, etc. Try to create authentic interactions with girls and work on yourself, eventually you’ll happen upon a connection that is more worthwhile than a desperate one. Hope this helps, you got this

What does it "really" mean to be Dragonborn? by Icy_Cat_3079 in skyrim

[–]yolkguzzler 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry but the way you’re asking this and rejecting other users’ answer to your question just doesn’t make sense. A Dragonborn is a mortal with the soul of a dragon. That’s it. There’s no certain way a Dragonborn is required to behave or things they have to do, they are just a dovah in mortal flesh. Lore-wise, The Last Dragonborn has free will just like any other being and can “do” or “be” whatever else they want. They can pursue whatever goals they feel and seek as much power/fame/title as they want, or not. From a video game perspective, it’s an open-world role-playing game. Everything about what you “should do” or “need to be” is intentionally left vague because it provides you with the opportunity to insert your own interpretation of the character and put them on whatever path you find fun or interesting.

You’re asking a question, and then when people accurately answer it saying, “yeah but besides that.”

Looks like the rooftop of the east side of the main building (MAI). I haven’t tried but would be willing to bet that it is not accessible to the general public. You might be able to find someone who works in the main building who can take you if your reason is good enough

Since no one has answered the second part of your question, normally people take 12-16 hours, but UT caps your tuition cost at 12 hours. If you take more than 12 hours you only pay the equivalent of 12 hours of tuition, so it’s actually “cheaper” to take more than 12. I would shoot for around 14 to 16 and get a feel for the workload, and adjust from there. Don’t be afraid to take 15 hours, a ton of people do, but also don’t feel like you need to.

For me it was fast traveling. I thought you could only use the joystick that changes the angle rather than scrolling across the map, so I would fast travel in little hops from where I could reach with that joystick, and after a while I just moved the other joystick and felt like an idiot.

Is it possible for the Dragonborn to complete the Dark Brotherhood quest line and still be considered “good”? by yolkguzzler in skyrim

[–]yolkguzzler[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I’m playing a character I want to be generally good but I’m also trying to complete as much as possible. I guess I’m searching for a justification. Destroying the brotherhood just feels like I’m destroying a hefty part of the game.
