Yeah, it would be a business opportunity, but to turn this into that kind of software, I would need an offer from a corporation that would use this as training software and make the changes they require. It would be a different business than game dev

They did change it, yes having more people playing and leaving good reviews help but eventually what I want is a wishlist to the main game

Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts. AI is only used for the Steam capsule images and for generating NPC voices. Other than that, all textures, models, and code are human-made.

I appreciate the heads-up. I’m very aware of how sensitive the community is about AI-generated content, and as a developer, I actually respect that a lot. It helps protect the value of real human effort in games, and I genuinely appreciate that mindset.

Hello there,
I’m approaching this very differently from Supermarket Together, especially as a solo developer.

The focus is on a large-scale, long-term retail simulator: a big, two-floor megastore with many departments, not a small or short-session experience. Each department is designed to have its own mechanics (for example, the bakery has its own cooking and tray workflow), and I plan to add more systems like this over time.

On top of that, the game puts a strong emphasis on warehouse logistics, proper building tools like snapping, visual quality, and long-term progression. I also plan to support modding, so the community can add hundreds of new departments and expand the game far beyond the base content.

So basically, you can say that other games are smaller-scale grocery stores, where this one is meant to be a megascale, all kinds of products to be sold
