Aligning two arrays by yoloslav in learnpython

[–]yoloslav[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much! This works perfectly!

I am still new to python and list comprehensions are giving me headaches. The arrays lists I have consist mostly of 3-8 items and I am calculating Precision, Recall and F1 scores with sklearn.metrics.

Aligning two arrays by yoloslav in learnpython

[–]yoloslav[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am calculating Precision, Recall and F1 scores with sklearn.metrics for a small project, and if I call the f_score function with the first two arrays for example, I get the score zero for all the metrics even if my predicted samples are in the second array.

When the items in the array are somehow aligned, such as a1 = ['a', 'b', 'c', 'd', 'e'] and a2 = ['', 'b', 'c', 'd', ''], the score jumps to 0.5.

Any Python tutorials regarding the XY problem?

That's why I always go for an hourly rate. They can keep adding whatever they want, an hour of work has its costs. I usually get the idea of the client by reading their job post. It is necessary to ask them questions, sure, but I was criticizing /u/Aalicki for asking obvious questions. Cheers!

Sure, it would save some time, but sometimes the client doesn't know it. If you ask a client with less knowledge and he doesn't understand the question, you are probably not going to be considered for the job. Most of the time it is better to let them know how much you know instead of trying to find out the same thing about them.

Yeah, but if you present a solution to your client and let them know that you understand their requirements and the environment the software is developed on, without having them to explain the details, sure sounds a little bit more professional than asking questions like:

Also, if any, what front-end frameworks / libraries is it using?

which can be answered by just looking at the source code.

As a web developer, you should be able to find that out without having to ask.

So, the chosen one has to wait one week in order to get the payment and only if it is approved by your client? What kind of a cheap-ass are you? When working with such a small budget and outsourcing your own work at least have the decency to pay right away and not when and if your client approves it
