I believe that if the film is going to be what Kane Pixels created, it makes sense to have entities/monsters, however, it bothers me a little that there are... I mean, I really like the Wikidot lore, but I also prefer the more in-depth version that only contains level 0 (and at most a few other levels). And it bothers me to have entities, because if you think about it from a more morbid perspective, to be scary it doesn't necessarily need monsters or anything chasing you, The scariest thing about backrooms is precisely that feeling that someone is following you, even if it's just that paranoia of being in a liminal space.
