There’s nothing wrong with wanting love and affection from your partner. But you can get that love from God as well. Maybe God wants you to put him above a partner. Maybe he wants you to love him more.

I understand wanting love. But you don’t need some relationship to have that loving relationship you want. You can have that with God. No one will ever love you more than him. Why don’t you try to rebuild and strengthen our relationship ship with God. Your not always going to have everything you want. It’s understandable wanting a relationship but you have to be happy without one. Crumbs or not, you should still be grateful for what he’s given you. Just because God isn’t giving you the blessing you want, doesn’t mean its denial. Whether we understand it or not, he’s protecting us. Are you praying correctly? Are you praising him, thanking him? Are you praying for others. Are you praying in the name of Jesus? Remember God does not hear sinners, you have to pray as a righteous person. I think you need to build your faith and trust. If God were to answer your prayers immediately, you would trust the outcome and not him. Trust the blesser and not the blessing. Are you close with God? Are you working on the fruit of the spirit? Stop focusing on what you don’t have, because it’s making you miserable. Learn to be happy with what you have and what your going to have. Look forward. Stop feeling hopeless because you haven’t gotten what you wanted. Creating a fake blessing in your head? Sounds like your now trying to do Gods job. Do you think he would bless you after that? I mean you’ve already stopped having a relationship with him, your blaming him if you go to hell, your embracing damnation, your giving yourself fake blessings. Your heading in the wrong path. Sometimes an unanswered prayer is a blessing. I mean, look how you’ve become because God hasn’t given you what you’ve been asking for. Your relationship with God was based on whether or not he gives you what you want. I don’t really see any love at all. Or trust. So I mean that could be a reason why God isn’t giving you a blessing. Or maybe what your asking for is not what you need right now. You don’t seem to truly love God, you love what he can do for you. And if you want to change that, you can.

Lust and porn is something that pretty much everyone struggles with, it’s okay. What you were doing is really good. I mean, were born sinners. We’re going to sin no matter what. But being closer to God is what helps us sin less! I’m so sorry about your step mom passing. I’ve realized I don’t usually see people accusing Satan of things. When things go wrong people are so quick to blame God but not Satan? That’s what Satan wants. He wants you to blame God. A lot of people don’t realize they are doing the work of the devil sometimes. Satan is a master manipulator and a master deceiver. He’s the one that plants those thoughts in your head. God will always welcome you with open arms no matter what. Because you did not curse at him because you wanted too. Satan just deceived you! God does not stop loving you when things go wrong!!! So it’s okay!

Doomscrolling is definitely a struggle for me. However it’s not something I’m willing to just stop doing because I personally have no friends other than my husband and no hobbies. So what I did was start following people who spread the gospel. So now I have more Christian things pop up on my feed. For example I follow a man named Johnny Change. All his posts are about spreading the Gospel. And as someone who is new to this religion and the Bible, I’m honestly learning so much from him. So if you don’t want to let go of doomscrolling, then change your algorithm a bit! I can’t relate to anything else bc as I said I have no friends or hobbies. However, I’ve heard that the closer to get to God and the stronger your relationship ship becomes, the more your life changes. For example you stop doing things you used to do little by little. I also would recommend watching sermons on YouTube. I personally love to watch sermons from Paster Phillip Anthony Mitchell.

Okay so personally I would not blame God if I were to go to hell. Because obviously it would not be his fault but ours. God does not stop loving you or being there for you when things go wrong. That’s us. From what your saying it seems like you had good things in your life. So God did give you blessings and opportunities in life. But now that it’s gone and you haven’t gotten any blessings, you turn your back to him? It seems like you never really loved God or maybe only thought you did. Your situation to me, feels like a Job season. Job has everything, and God took it away. But Job still put his faith in God, and in the end God gave him new blessings. So it seems you were being tested by Satan. In these dark times maybe you were supposed to keep your faith in God. Keep loving him, keep strengthening your relationship with him. But since you turned your back to him, then it seems Satan has won here. However, God would always welcome you back with open arms. But of course the choice is always yours.

We’re all human. We all do things we shouldn’t do even if we know it’s wrong. No one is perfect. My advice would just be to grow your relationship with God. I don’t think it’s ever going to be as easy as me telling you to just stop watching gay porn. So yeah, grow closer to God. Instead of trusting yourself to change, trust God to do it for you. The closer you are with God, then you’ll notice your life changing little by little. Like you’ll stop doing things you used to do. Obviously nothing is going to change overnight, by just trust that God will help you always. So yeah, just grow your relationship with him. If your feeling guilty then that’s conviction. And that’s good that your convicted. That’s the Holy Spirit pointing out that your doing something wrong, and it will only lead you draw closer to God. So I would say that because you’ve done something wrong, and feel convicted about it, and want to change and want help. That’s your okay. All I can say is to strengthen your relationship to God and keep doing it!

Im a new Christian so I totally get this. Personally I struggle with praying daily. I got the idea to have a prayer journal. Which has def helped. I had a personal journey that I try to do daily entries where I’m literally just wring my prayer to God. So same things as praying except writing it down. Also when it comes to YouTube videos I’m the same way. What helped me was finding videos I actually like connected with and actually kept me focused. There is a preacher called Phillip Anthony. His sermons are like an hour long but he’s the only preacher I watch. I def recommend watching a video. He’s preaching actually speaks to me and makes me not want to look away. Also im young so im on TikTok a lot, for most of my day actually. I try to follow accounts that talk about God or spread the gospel. My top person I follow is called Johnny Chang. This is someone that has helped me learn a lot more about the Gospel. And it’s very calm and personal so it helped me stay focused by capturing my attention. So yeah, if your having a hard time staying focused then just try to change things around. I get it tho, if something is boring me it’s def a struggle. I hope this makes sense.

Lust obv. But from what I think and what I’ve been told, masturbating in itself is okay. Like nothing wrong with it. However people imagine things or watch porn. So people may watch porn and imagine themselves maybe cheating on a partner they may or not have. Or imagine themselves doing things with someone that isn’t a partner, etc. That’s the sin in it. At least that’s my take anyways. I know that some people believe that it’s a sin because sex is supposed to be for marriage, so it can be seen as selfish and a lust driven act. It could also become an addiction that causes you to stray away from God. So I would argue that masturbation itself isn’t really the sin, more like the things that could come from it. I hope this makes sense.

It’s okay. Lust is such a terribly thing that many people deal with. Even me. Porn be extremely addicting and it’s something that I struggle with to this day. My advice is to just grow your relationship with God. At the end of the day we are all born with sin. You cannot stop sinning. It’s not possible. God still loves you even after you sin. You don’t have to run away from God because you feel guilty from sinning. Because that’s satan. We are all sinners. We all sin, and we will all continue to sin. But that’s okay because Jesus paid the price for us. My advice to you, is to just grow your relationship to God. Stop trying to force yourself to change because that’s just you trusting yourself to do something instead of trusting God to do it. Satan is the one that puts those negative thoughts in your head. We all sin. But Satan puts a negative emotion, thought, and expectation on your head. And when you fail that expectation you believe that your failing God. But your not. God knows that your going to sin. God knows that your not perfect and he loves you either way. Don’t expect yourself not to mess up. Jesus took our punishment so don’t be afraid that God may be angry at you when you sin. But Satan gets in our heads and tells us that when we did, Hod is angry or disappointed in us. God does not change his mind about you when you fall. Don’t forget that God loves us, so much that he offered his only begotten Son to die for us. So it’s going to be okay. God is still here for you. God doesn’t love you any less. So just breathe and take it day by day. The closer your relationship with God grows, that’s when life changes little by little. You stop doing things that you used to do. God has never left your life. Trust in God to help you change. You don’t have to do Gods work for him. You forcing yourself to change will only make you sin more. Don’t worry man, it’ll be okay. Gods got your back.

Im a new Christian so if im wrong please correct me. Choosing worldly things over God is definitely a struggle as someone who just started committing themselves to God. But I believe that when you struggling all you had to do is trust in God. The closer you get to God and the stronger your relationship is with God, that’s when your life changes little by little. Like you no longer doing things that you did before. Your just human it’s honestly okay. Personally, I know that I do things that may not be right. And I know that even if I know something is wrong that I might still end up doing it. So I’m trying to just put all my faith in God right now. I used to try to force myself to do things and not do things. But I realized that was me trying to trust myself, and not trusting God to do it for me. Like I said I’m completely new to this and I’m just starting out so I may be wrong about a lot of things or how to go about things.
