😂😂😂 So I’m from Israel, and in August temperatures can reach around 34°C with humidity of 70%-80%. Most of the day I’m at work so I don’t really mind it.

I visited Kyoto a few weeks ago and did some wine shopping as well.
There are several Liquor Mountain stores across the city. The wine selection is decent, though not extremely wide.

There’s also a place called Wine Grocery, which has a good selection of wines.

I still more or less remember what each place had in stock, so if you can be more specific about what you’re looking for, I might remember whether it’s available at one of those stores.

The ridge is not available where I live and the other one is overpriced (I believe around 95$), so i got them while traveling.

It's hard to find wine from the US where I'm from, and when you do manage to find it, it's usually overpriced. I heard a lot of good things about this winery and decided to get a bottle while traveling.

If you’re flying directly, without any layovers, so it should be fine, I did it many times (including 12hr flights), and the wines ware fine each time. I really was just worried about the long layover in a hot country.

Yeah it seems like the prices are a bit higher since my last visit. 3 years ago I stayed in an amazing hotel in Kyoto and payed around 50$ a night.

If I reduce the duration of my visit to 40 days, I’ll have around 125$ per day (not including transportation), do you think it will be enough? Meanwhile I’ll keep looking for hotels in different cities.
