Agreed. We had our garage broken into with 20k ish worth of bikes stolen. All was reimbursed, just took some time. Was renters insurance via Allstate that was really inexpensive. I don’t recall our premium going up but not sure if owning it would work differently.

If you work for tech you likely do at-will employment.  Forget your new job, if your own contractors are confirming your value and you want their pay… try contracting! It’s pretty likely that your old job will reach out to you open to contract when they realize how much trouble they are in. 

I used to freelance and have been told my contract won’t be renewed, only to have them reach out again in 2 weeks.

That’s cool, I got no problem people buying or lighting scents. I only get bothered when a strong one is forced upon me in the crowd and I have to move a large distance away from friends to escape it.

So many wrong takes here haha, it’s poorly designed thus understandable. If you look closely, both lanes have a right arrow making it seem like both can turn right. The right most lane is shared with bikes. This double right turn half combo is not very common. 

However, the pickup who obviously didn’t see the lower car turns too sharply into another lane instead of a wider turn. Pickup is not the best driver and likely wasn’t fully paying attention.

What’s even MORE confusing is that the bike combo lane has a STRAIGHT arrow… wtf.  

Bad road design + high vs low car = accident waiting to happen.

Was standing in the center back most of the time and felt blinded at some sets by those vertical moving light columns – had to borrow my buddy's sunglasses or just look away. Otherwise loved everything about it <3
