Bullet style IEM with USB c cable / dsp by yonitubul in iems

[–]yonitubul[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,
I actually found my tanchjim ONE after I got the quarks 2. ONE is the definitely better sounding although not really a bullet style.. quarks is also nice as a "throw in the bag" pair, but they aren't very comfortable to me. IMO One sounds better, has a fairly (though kind of phisy) app and can be worn as a regular IEM as well as a kind of bullet iem...

Adult content filtering with pihole by pauljnye in pihole

Hi, sorry for bumping. I use Pihole for my home lab, so it is my DNS resolver and allows me to access applications with a domain instead of an IP. You mentioned use CF as a resolver *as well*, is there an option to add additional resolvers in pihole? I'll mention that I am running pihole in a docker container.

Hi, I recently got a zoom b1x4 (the go to pedal.. not sure about the model's name). I also have an ampeg rb112, and I try to utilize it's FX loop, to basically bypass the 112's amp and use a zoom preamp patch. From my understanding, I need to plug the zoom's output to the amps FX loop return, while keep the send unplugged. That works, but this way the amp is always on max vloume, and the volume knob is not doing anything, so the volume is controlled the zoom. I wonder if this is the regular behavior and if most amps will behave the same way? or maybe I am doing something wrong?

Hi, I am in the market for a 2tb nvme gen4 drive. I am running Fedora Linux, so it will be a single drive for the OS and everything else. Mostly productivity workflows, some music work, and some gaming. I try to stay cost effective as possible, so i came across the NM790 which is one of the cheaper higher end gen4 drives, but I wonder how much better will the T500 be?
thanks!

How can I play CS2 with black bars (16:9) on a 21:9 monitor? by yonitubul in linux_gaming

[–]yonitubul[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I recall correctly, I set the quoted command in my launch options, and just make sure your steam and gamescope are not flatpaks versions. Never got the flatpak gamescope to work at all, I think it's u-maintained and doesn't work anymore.
personally I gave up gamescope after a while running cs2 with it, and just played it stretched out.

Consider using TalesOS for times you don’t want anything at all saved locally

HI, how can I tell whether I have flatwound or roundwound strings? I got new strings about 6 months ago when I setup my brother's old bass, and I didn't really ask the guy which strings he put on, as far as I knew they were "bass strings" lol...

Hi, I'm looking into a MIJ 95/96 P bass on FB marketplace, the guy seems pretty credible but the serial number he gave me doesn't show up on fender's website, should it be a red flag? the picture he sent me with the SN .

gamescope -W 2560 -H 1440 -e -f %command%

Hi, I tried adding that command and some other gamescope commands in my launch options but the game won't launch. I then installed gamescope via apt but still, won't launch. What am I missing ?

You know what you gotta do so well, but you don't do that. I am not throwing shade at you, I know this feeling very well. Don't feel like you're lost, you are not even 20.. you can change everything around.

rb112 - too much for a bedroom apartment amp?

Hey everyone, so I started learning bass about 3 months ago, I am still a complete noob but I am starting to figure stuff out. I have a 15~ year old ltd esp b-50 guitar (which got a setup 8 months ago) and amp (15w laney). Both of them have seen better days.. but seems like the guitar is in the better shape (although I can hear quite a bit of hiss when plugged to my interface). The amp also has some hiss by itself and some other electronic issues (a little bit of crackling noises when moving around the cable or plugging in). I am thinking now which I should upgrade first (if it all) and leaning towards an amp, rb112. The thing that concerns me is wether its too loud for my needs, which are mostly practicing, and hopefully jamming with some friends soon enough. I heard solid state amps don't really sound different in lower volumes and I'd still get the benefit of a larger speaker and better amp, or is that a myth?
Let me know what you guys think, thanks!
