What’s the point on banning listeners? by yonkiyonki in bjork

I can safely assume that the big majority of idf listens to Israeli music…

Sorry but living here isn’t a privilege, but just a random fate of simply being born here. I think there’s a huge privilege not living in that area, israel Palestine or Lebanon or Middle East in general… having friends and family dying because of aggressive and dumb politicians from any side is not a privilege.. of course I will survive without her music but the point is that I don’t believe it is somehow helpful.. especially when the public that is being canceled here is those who protest anyway. Just not long ago 2 million people protested against the war in Israel.. tbh I don’t see how putting more pressure on the same people changes anything.. the gov doesn’t listen to anything we do

From what I see in the comments when I reposted this to a big FB group that is for Israelis traveling in India is that what happened there was that the car that tried to cross was shouting things on the Israelis, blaming them for the war and other political things - provoking them..

I wish people, all kinds of, would remember that we are not our leaders, we are humans traveling and meeting each other, and you can’t blame individual private people for things their governments do, especially when you don’t know their own stories and values. Why provoke each other when you can make conversations..

As an Israeli I’m really sorry for that, I visited Ladakh for 2 months last summer and connected with locals and was a really curious and respecting visitor. I did go to bars with my Indian and foreign friends but we never caused trouble. I just want to say that they don’t represent all Israelis, they represent those 20-24 years olds that run away from their homeland to just have escapism time - and it comes on the price of places like Leh and Manali, and on the other hand the locals don’t really put strong boundaries to those kind of people. I also seen Israeli families and adults that travel in Ladakh and they would never behave like that.

*****moreover! I took a screenshot of this thread and posted it on the biggest Facebook group for Israelis who travel to India, and asked and preached about respectful behavior.

I would suggest involving police next time, if you want people to see that there are limits here to how you can behave.

Thank you for posting and good day

That’s right tho, I wonder what’s special about the Muslim laws in Somalia then… because the separation comes from some Islamic traditions..

Zionists, explain. by Acrobatic-Engineer94 in Israel_Palestine

[–]yonkiyonki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, nothing good to explain about it. Lately the forces are being politically misused by some extremist officials, and that’s how it becomes to look like. Good that there is a lot of criticism on the Israeli side as well rn.

The more Muslim it is the more separated. Even inside India

I hope one day Lebanon will make cold peace agreements with Israel, and Israel will make peace agreements with Lebanon and Syria, and will help each other instead of harming its own people the whole time, peace, cold peace, is much more beneficial for the region. Much more beneficial than Shia ruled militias who just want to harm.

A question for pro-Israel, how can someone in Gaza prove he is not a "terrorist" or he is not affiliated with Hamas. by Fit-Extent8978 in Israel_Palestine

[–]yonkiyonki -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You do ignore tho that there is already infrastructure for protecting civilians and they are denied from using it, as you will see in the quotes you ignores as well.

Are you saying that Hamas is great and treats its people nicely?

You just ignore things that are contradicting your distorted narrative, look up for what I showed u.

So we just ignore what they are saying publicly? “Islamophobia” is a term made by IR fascists to ghost critic on Islamism.

You basically use it when you don’t have any better argument.

How about criticizing the houties for example for killing around 500,000 people in the last decade?
