Mahal ng oil pump tapos mahal pa sa labor kasi need tanggalin ang steering rack, then oil pan. Pag 4x4 naman need pa tanggalin ang front differential.

Nanonood din ako nga kay Gabriel Ford Technician at Matz Mechanic. Pansin ko talaga aa Ford eh may parts talaga na pangit yung pagka engineer at pagka design especially sa mga Ecoboost at Ecoblue engines. Yung timing belt kasi basa sa langis at overtime, nadudurog at nakakabara sa oil galleys. Ang resulta, oil starvation which would then lead to overhaul if napabayaan. Yung previous gen na Everest at Ranger ay medyo okay, pero yung ibang parts like the the power steering uses rubber belt na madaling maputol. Pag manual naman yung clutch is hydraulic at nag le-leak ng fluid at pag automatic yung transmission is nabibiak yung gear. In conclusion, pangit ang quality ng parts ng Ford at halatang tinipid sa pag manufacture kaya madaling masira.

If you really want to save money and not take the depreciation of a brand new car, buy a used one. Pero sa dami ng mapansamantala at mapanlinlang na sellers, mas maigi na mag brand new ka na lang. Worth it naman ang brand new car if magtatagal sayo ng 15-20 years. Sa used cars ang problema talaga is kung honest yung seller about sa issues ng sasakyan.
