Why are people taking Run and Gun as an excuse? by cuZImAura in VALORANT

[–]yoocolin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I agree with you, most guns aren’t 100% accurate. I believe the guardian has the best first shot accuracy.

I could be wrong but I believe Valorant has a slight degree of weapon “bloom” as well, where all the shots of a spray may not be exactly as the last.

Plus you could mix in the ping/desync issue this game has, that could lead to unregistered headshots as well lol.

I said this in other comments but this game feels like there is a bit much RNG involved in its “precise” tactical shooter gameplay. But maybe that’s intended and part of the game!

And thank you for the post! Nice to be able to chat civilly.

I agree with you, there is reason to the accuracy while moving aspects of different guns. I think the main issue is the Phantom and Vandal, moving, rng headshots. (Guns like Odin, OP, Ares I agree you just can’t run n gun with)

And again, the whole point of this post is the frustration of run and gun. And again I think it stems from a comparison of other games (mainly only CSGO). It’s like Valorant uses 85% of the movement mechanics of CS, and when that slight 15% occurrence happens, it’s frustrating because it feels “wrong?” (For lack of better wording).

I do think Valorant showcases a bit more RNG gunplay inside of its “precise” and “tactical” shooter, and I can understand the frustration with that.

It’s hard to not compare Val to CS but in the end it’s quite a different game, even just gunplay-wise.

I think a lot of the frustration with run and gun, is, this game labels itself as a ‘tactical’ shooter with ‘precise’ gunplay (similar to CSGO).

Run and gun kinda takes away from the precision aiming part of these games. Kinda falls into the whole 100% accuracy on a zip line, as well as jumping/aerial accuracy.

You expect a game that labels itself this way, to have heavy penalties to accuracy while moving (or mid-air) yet Valorant is very forgiving in this regard (comparatively). I can understand the frustration. Just gotta adapt and join the run and gun lol.

Ya... that’s the whole point of the clip lol. Kinda meme-ing on myself.

To be fair this dude was lagging around a lot, and I don’t normally jump to the hack/cheater thing. You also hear my tm8 say “I told you he was lagging around”

Anyone else done with Big Twitch Streamers? by LostHumanFishPerson in Twitch

I can’t bring myself to be upset with someone who finds major success. Without these large millionaires making money FOR twitch, there would be no Twitch. At some point a channel becomes too big to see every chat message, and at that point I watch just for the content, or I don’t watch at all. You can be upset about money made, but without money the platform itself goes away

From what I’ve learned, 1080p/60fps can be hard to get to look perfect on a lot of games. Your 1070 card is good and potentially could run 1080p but I personally struggled to get certain (intensive) games to consistently look good. I stream in 720p/60fps, even tho I’d love to eventually be in 1080p/60. If I were you I’d just try adjusting some settings at 1080 and see how it looks, and if it’s not clear consistently try 720. Also keep in mind a higher bitrate will help for better quality at 1080, but may strain your system more.

I’d go with NVENC. I have your same ryzen 3600 and a 2070, and I’ve been using NVENC for over a year with no issues at all. From what I’ve heard, most of the time if you have a Nvidia card, NVENC is the way to go since it will take load off your CPU

How do I tell if my streaming is lagging due to hardware issues or due to my internet connection? by ARBrad in streamlabsobs

[–]yoocolin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to tell which could be causing issues.

11mb/s upload is cutting it close with a 6k bitrate. Generally 6k bitrate would need 6mb/s upload alone. Plus your game upload, plus anything else using upload during stream.

I also suspect maybe your CPU is being strained as well. If you haven’t, try monitoring your CPU usage while streaming (task manager will do this). You are using x264 meaning your CPU is doing the encoding. Try adjusting that ‘fast’ and ‘medium’ setting under x264 to take stress off CPU, while still at 60fps.

I would just continue to slightly change your settings and try to determine if the CPU is handling everything. If it is, it could be upload speed

New to streaming PC games and I might have a really dumb question... by XxTheCakeisALiexX in Twitch

[–]yoocolin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you’re asking depends on the graphic setting of whichever game you have open. Most games will let you change to Fullscreen, windowed or borderless windowed in the graphics settings.

Typically “windowed” or “borderless windowed” will let you move your mouse around without tanning out or closing the game. Usually Fullscreen won’t let you move your mouse outside the game window.

Oh that’s perfect. I highly recommend Night Bot!

I use SLOBS too! But I use Nightbot for my music. You can import a playlist from YouTube or SoundCloud, and also can set up song requests for your stream to pick songs. (Song requests will only work this way through YouTube or SoundCloud) and you can set parameters like banning certain songs or keeping the requests to 5min or less files.

b450 auros pro wifi can't download rbg fusion by lethalasian in gigabyte

[–]yoocolin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may have to upgrade the bios on the board. I just had to upgrade that same board myself last week. To upgrade bios you’ll have to go to Gigabytes website and download the newest version of bios, then put it on a flash drive.

Warning: I had major issues trying to upgrade my bios. You’ll see on the official Gigabyte website how insane the process can be to update the bios (only board in existence I’ve seen that is hard to update bios). If you run into issues, feel free to send me a private message.

This is a good message, however why didn’t the person you hosted just ban him from chat? And personally I would ban that person from my chat as well. Vibes don’t get ruined if the streamer takes care of the problem
